HOLISTIC PRACTICE

PHILOSOPHY

My practice is grounded in the seasonal shifts and constant regeneration of the sacred Lake Superior and the bioregions of the upper Midwest. We are so incredibly blessed to be in a place where food is abundant and we are literally surrounded by healing fresh water.

I was drawn to bodywork as a way to directly work with others in increasing emotional freedom, resilience and self awareness in the body and spirit. I believe deeply that receiving consensual healing touch for just an hour can be a true turning point as the body/mind is given a chance to rest and reset. I am passionate about holistic wellness and desire to help others in their journey through chronic pain, stress reduction, healing from emotional or physical injury, or just a massage because it feels heavenly!

I received my degree from The Aveda Institute in 2016 and have also studied Thai Massage, and have studied Traditional Western Herbalism for a decade. My sessions are tailored to the clients needs and are centered in consent and respect of all bodies.

May we journey together and strive to be our best selves.

AMETHYST MASSAGE AND BODYWORK

Facilitating Balance

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Swedish/Relaxation Massage increases circulation and flexibility and aids in the removal of toxins from the body. Your session is customized to your needs and can include deep tissue or rehabilitative techniques. The deep state of relaxation produced by massage lets the body do its innate job of renewing and rebuilding at the cellular level.

THAI MASSAGE

Thai massage is an ancient healing modality that combines rhythmic massage with assisted yoga-type stretching. The massage is performed on a mat on the floor with the client wearing comfortable clothing. Thai massage has the same benefits as therapeutic massage, but in addition promotes positive energy circulation, leaving you feeling balanced and invigorated.
